[Answer: Priority One Medical Transport does promote from within based on performance, merit and the education one has pertaining to the area of interest.]

Will Priority One help me find a re-certification class when my EMT license expires?

[Answer: Our Human Resources Department has current information regarding local Certification Programs and will be more than happy to assist when you are in need of re-certification.]

Do I have to be an Ambulance Driver?

[Answer: Priority One Medical Transport requires that each EMT obtain their ambulance driver’s license thirty (30) days after being hired.]

Is financial aide offered to me if I would like to further my education in the EMS field?

[Answer: After having been employed by Priority One Medical Transport for one (1) plus years, an employee has the opportunity to submit a request for financial aide for furthering education in the EMS field pending a contractual agreement with Priority One Medical Transport.]

Do you offer continuing education classes for your current EMT, EMT-P, and RN’s?

[Answer: Priority One Medical Transport is a CE provider offering many levels of Continuing Education.]

Is the company privately owned or a public corporation?

[Answer: Priority One Medical Transport is a corporation founded by our President & C.O.O. Michael D. Parker NREMT-P. Mr. Parker is a former Sheriff Deputy who studied at California Southern Law School and obtained his Certificate in Paralegal Studies.]

Where are you located? How much area do you cover?

[Answer: Our corporate offices are located in Ontario, CA. We have numerous stations spread throughout the state which allow us to cover the Bay area all the way down to San Diego.]

Do you offer CPR classes?

[Answer: We offer Full Certification and Re-Certification classes for both CPR & First Aid under the American Heart Association and American Health and Safety Institute’s curriculums. Please contact our CPR coordinator, Carissa Kinkor today!]

Do you provide 911? What other services do you provide?

[Answer: Yes we do provide 911. We are contracted with the Fire Department in Stockton, California. We also provide many other services which you can find here!]

What is NAEMD?

[Answer: NAEMD is the National Academy of Emergency Medical Dispatchers; a professional organization standardizing the pre-arrival care administered by the communications center personnel. Click here to visit their site!]

Do you have to be NAEMD certified to work in the communications center?

[Answer: All personnel in the communications center are expected to obtain their NAEMD certification during their employment with Priority One Medical Transport.]
